GS Power Partners Builds on Momentum with an Expanded Team, Project Milestones and Pipeline Growth

The company is on track to operate more than 400 megawatts of distributed generation solar by year-end, signs new Power Purchase Agreements in the Midwest
NEW YORK and LAS VEGAS (September 9, 2025) – GS Power Partners (GSPP), a leading Independent Power Producer in the distributed generation (DG) solar sector, today announced at RE+2025 its community solar project milestones, team expansion and continued leadership. As a developer, builder, financier, owner and operator with almost a decade of experience in DG solar projects, the company’s operational portfolio is on track to exceed 400 megawatts (MW) by year-end, with additional projects under construction and a 1+ gigawatt development pipeline. GSPP’s construction portfolio is focused on the East Coast and Midwest and has expanded to a number of new states, including Wisconsin and Iowa, where the company has entered into Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), a rapidly growing part of the company’s business.
Community Solar Achievements
During the first half of the year, GSPP has honed in on community solar developments in New York and the Northeast. In New York City, the company brought eight rooftop community solar projects online across multiple boroughs with its partner, Stop & Stor. In mid-July, GSPP announced its first State University of New York offtaker, SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY ESF). SUNY ESF is subscribed to GSPP’s Saratoga II Solar Farm in Middle Grove NY. This was made possible via GSPP’s partnership with Community Solar Authority (CSA).
The company is also undertaking a biodiversity education initiative within target communities in New York and New England. At GSPP’s project sites, the program highlights local ecodiversity while partnering with schools and community groups to spark hands-on learning. From birdhouses and bat boxes to pollinator gardens and other creative projects, participants explore how these efforts shape and support local wildlife.
“GSPP’s success in community solar has always been rooted in a clear strategy built on disciplined financing, trusted partnerships, and deep operational expertise,” remarked Jason Kuflik, CEO and Co-founder of GS Power Partners. “As we continue to grow, we remain steadfast in this approach while finding new and innovative ways to expand our impact in the market.”
New York HQ and Team Expansion
GSPP opened a new office in New York in early 2025, and has expanded its team by 30 percent over the last year. In early February, GSPP announced several strategic hires, and the promotion of a number of team members in asset management, finance, and operational roles. Chief Strategy Officer Lori Arndt remarked, “We’ve added key hires in critical areas – O&M, asset management, construction and technology – that will help us to execute on our goals. And we’ve identified top performers who have contributed to our success. We are proud of our dedicated team, and are committed to their career growth.”
What’s Next for GSPP
With an expanding team, the company’s New York office locale, and a robust development portfolio, GSPP’s commitment to financial and commercial partners, subscribers, anchors, and teams remains steadfast. The company’s ongoing momentum is built on a brand that focuses on operational excellence and transparency, with a consistent track record of building high-performance assets.
GSPP anticipates announcing more news pertaining to its financial partnerships, funding achievements, acquisitions, and other project-related milestones throughout the remainder of the year.
