Leadership Team
Jason Kuflik | Chief Executive Officer
Jason Kuflik is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and a founding member of GS Power Partners. With more than 15 years in financial management, commercial development, and operations, Jason is a seasoned clean energy leader. As CEO, he is focused on the company’s growth strategy, ensuring strong financial performance, and realizing the company’s mission to advance the energy transition through responsible investments and industry partnerships.
Prior to founding GS Power Partners, Jason served in leadership roles for both finance and renewables organizations. Early in his career, Jason worked at Bernath & Rosenberg, where he advised on all aspects of cash management and tax planning for high net-worth clients and oversaw accounts totaling over $100 million. In 2009, Jason transitioned to a large solar developer, where he began managing due diligence operations. He later moved into development, successfully closing over 200 megawatts of Power Purchase Agreements. At OnForce Solar, Jason served as Vice President of Commercial Business Development, and later, Chief Strategy Officer, where he managed all aspects of the commercial division.
Jason serves on the GJGNY Advisory Council for the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority and is a rotating member of the SHC Alliance Council for the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA). He graduated with an accounting and economics degree from Queens College.
Marshall Anderson | Chief Finance Officer
Marshall Anderson is Chief Finance Officer (CFO) of GS Power Partners. As CFO, he spearheads the company’s project finance and capital markets strategy, overseeing fiscal planning, market analysis, fundraising and operational finance.
Marshall is an accomplished senior executive with experience across the investment and operations lifecycle focused on infrastructure funds, developers and operating entities. He has a track record of successful structured finance and capital markets leadership, and significant experience bringing development, asset management and finance teams together to enhance execution of strategic initiatives.
He previously served as Managing Director at JLC Infrastructure, a private equity and asset management firm, where he drove growth initiatives and improved operational efficiency. He also oversaw the asset management functions. Before JLC, Marshall was a Finance Executive at Corvias, a prominent infrastructure developer and fund managing over $3.5 billion in assets. He led finance activities for the firm’s $50 million stormwater business and collaborated with other business leaders on strategic initiatives, while also overseeing business growth planning, refinancing, M&A transactions, and financial reporting for Corvias and its portfolio companies. Earlier in his career, Marshall founded WSP Consulting, a boutique consulting firm specializing in asset management and transactional support. He also held senior roles at KPMG, The GlenRock Group, and Citibank/Salomon Smith Barney.
A former Captain in the United States Air Force, Marshall brings a strong analytical and strategic skillset to the team. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in accounting and finance from Loyola Marymount University.
Lori Arndt | Chief Strategy Officer
Lori Arndt is GS Power Partners’ Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). As an executive, a line manager, and a consultant to CEOs, Lori has accumulated over 25 years of diverse experience in investment banking, commercial banking, and the clean energy industry. In her position as CSO, Lori is focused on guiding the organization’s long- and short-term strategic initiatives, overseeing its decision-making processes, and providing counsel to the company’s executive management team.
Lori has a long history of creating and leading successful growth initiatives, diagnosing and removing barriers to improvement, and building successful organizations. Her career has included senior level positions with Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, and Nomura. Her roles have spanned strategic planning, operations, manager development, client strategy and analytics, corporate access, relationship management, and sales. She has also been recruited as a senior manager to assist with strategy and organizational development in several startups, as well as leading as a consultant in the biotech, insurance third-party administration, and renewable energy industries.
Lori holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in finance and accounting from Columbia Business School, where she graduated first in her class, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Pennsylvania.
Nick Kamphaus | General Counsel
Nick Kamphaus is the General Counsel of GS Power Partners, where he is responsible for developing and implementing legal and compliance practices, as well as overseeing all legal affairs for the company.
Nick has over 15 years of legal experience, including more than nine years in the renewable energy sector. Nick joined GS Power Partners after several years at Nexamp, a top distributed generation solar and storage company. At Nexamp, Nick worked his way up to the position of Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, where he played a critical role in guiding the company’s legal and regulatory strategy through a period of rapid growth, as well as overseeing legal support for all day to day operations, including development, construction, procurement, energy and credit sales, acquisitions, litigation, and all project and portfolio financings. Prior to Nexamp, Nick was a Senior Counsel at Alliant Energy, an investor-owned utility operating in Wisconsin and Iowa, where he advised on a number of significant projects, including serving as lead in-house counsel for the company’s non-regulated renewables initiatives. Nick began his career working in corporate restructuring at the law firms of Milbank and Jones Day, where he represented clients in high-profile bankruptcy cases and large distressed transactions.
Nick holds a Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Mathematics and Philosophy, also from The Ohio State University.
Nick Sangermano | President
Nick Sangermano, an industry veteran with formidable energy expertise, serves as president of GS Power Partners. With 20+ years of direct experience in power, capital markets, and renewables, he is well positioned to provide strategic direction to the GS Power Partners team. In his role as president, Nick helps to shape the company’s strategic direction while overseeing commercial efforts.
Prior to GS Power Partners, Nick served in various management, finance, and operations roles, including the Managing Director of Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors and Senior Advisor to CleanCapital. Nick has raised over $3 billion of capital in solar, wind, hydro, and geothermal to advance the energy transition. He is an industry thought leader and a frequent conference speaker, has appeared on Bloomberg TV, and has been published in several industry media outlets.
Nick is a passionate advocate for sustainability and ESG. He has served as a member of the Bloomberg New Energy Finance Pioneer Award selection committee and the Waterkeeper Alliance Leadership Circle; as an advisor to the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE); and as a member of the Advisory Board for the Colorado School of Mines’ Payne Institute. Nick also served in the Royal Canadian Air Force as an officer and pilot. He received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from McGill University and a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from the University of Western Ontario.
Osman Sediqi | Chief Operating Officer
Osman Sediqi serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of GS Power Partners. He brings over 15 years of experience in the solar industry to his role at the company. As COO, Osman is responsible for leading the Asset Management team to manage GSPP’s existing DG portfolio, while continuing to uphold the company’s reputation for high-performance C+I and community solar assets.
At GS Power Partners, Osman has held a variety of positions, working across both asset and project management for the organization. Prior to joining the company, he served in leadership roles at Grasshopper Solar, directing a team of over 30 professionals. Osman was a managing partner of Koenig & Consultants from 2009 to 2014, offering energy-related management consulting services to global clients. He also co-founded Mining Energy Advisors, a platform aimed at supporting global mining companies in the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy.
Osman holds a degree from the Gelsenkirchen University of Applied Sciences in Germany, where he graduated with a double major in finance and international marketing management. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Amanda Zurla | Chief Development Officer
Amanda Zurla joined GS Power Partners in 2015, and today, she serves as Chief Development Officer (CDO). She is responsible for steering the company’s development efforts, including strategies for acquiring new projects and ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and environmental requirements. She oversees key stakeholder relations, including landowners, financial institutions, and potential partners. Amanda continues to successfully advance the growth of the company’s renewables portfolio, ensuring that projects are acquired, developed, and executed, while fostering relationships that support long-term company growth and sustainability.
Amanda initiated her career at GS Power Partners as a commercial sales analyst, working directly with company leaders to build and advance the commercial pipeline. She later served as the Director of Underwriting, and Chief Operating Officer, during which time she brought 189 MWdc of operational solar assets under the company’s management. Prior to joining GS Power Partners, Amanda led marketing efforts at Solar Maximum LLC and Infinity Solar Systems.
